Oh, Boy! Visitors!
My friends in the kennel told me that we had a whole herd of visitors today including the Sachs Family from Ottawa, Canada, a whole litter from Temple Emanu-el in Dallas, Texas and several nice folks from the Lauder Family.
Luckily, Jimmy (he's a great Guide Dog) had a few spare minutes, so he volunteered to take a couple of the kids on a Blindfold Walk through our Obstacle Course- the one we dogs practice on when we are first learning to be Guide Dogs. Jimmy finished his walk with flying colors. And the girl who walked with him did a great job. In fact, when Jimmy finished, he felt so comfortable walking with her, he just turned in towards our building and headed for his office! When I grow up, I hope I'll be as good a Guide Dog as Jimmy!

Izzy-- Judging from the smiles on the visitors' faces they had a terrific time touring IGDCB.
Oh, let me introduce myself. I'm "Gibor," ("Hero") being raised in New York by Jeff and Ellen Lambert for IGDCB. I am three-months old and a happy guy.
After I have learned the "basics" here in New York, I hope to join the rest of you in Beit Oved for advanced training. So, please save some food for me (yummy!). I love to eat!
I will be writing on the blog from time to time. Jeff (a college professor) says that the more I write the better I will be able to communicate my thoughts and feelings. The only thing is, my paws are ALREADY too large for the computer keyboard! Oh well...
L'hitraot!

Question: Is it possible for me to add posts to the blog? Folks might be interested in my experience being raised in New York. Gibor Hakelev
